New Rope Clutch

I recently replaced one of the port double rope clutches, which were (correctly) noted as oversized on the marine survey.

They are the 1980s vintage spinlock style, and fortunately the new spinlock XAS model (0612) has an identical footprint and hole pattern.

Swap out was very straightforward. Only customization was I trimmed a butyl gasket with scissors rather than using butyl tape. (The submariner in me disapproves of seams in gaskets).

New XAS clutch installed over 1/8 inch custom trimmed butyl gasket (from McMaster -Carr).
